Originally, Masetta said, Nature Stone® was intended for outdoor use- in projects like pool decks and patios.
Ten years ago, Russ Masetta was working twelve hour days for his family owned business in the concrete maintenance and repair industry.
Looking for a way to reduce costly concrete repairs, Masetta soon began experimenting with epoxies, stone and mixtures believing they had potential to correct problems in concrete.
What he discovered amazed him. A floor product that could be spread over concrete, and correct unevenness, cracks, resists stains and protect against water puddling and moisture damage and yet leave behind a diamond-like natural finish. A great idea too, for damp basements.
Originally, Masetta said, Nature Stone was intended for outdoor use- in projects like pool decks and patios. But further research and by sourcing smaller, more colorful aggregate stones, "we created an indoor flooring market for basements, garages, sunrooms and laundry rooms."
Nature Stone embedded in the special formulated resin comes in a large variety of colors from Alabama Rainbow to Razorback Red to White Rose Marble.
At the upcoming National City Home and Garden Show to be held Feb.6-14 at the IX Center, Nature Stone will grace the floor of the entrance plaza to the Show's Italian Villa, the nearby carport housing a new red Ferrari as well as the walkways, garage floors and laundry rooms for the Boulevard of Homes.
Nature Stone is based at 15 North Park in Bedford, Ohio.
