| Step 5 | Within 30 days, approved candidate will be requested to conduct a phone interview to discuss such topics as 1) Marketing, 2) Advertising, 3) Sales, 4) Installation, 5) Customer Service, 6) Training, 7) Initial & On-Going Investment Parameters. Note: To maximize the effectiveness of the phone interview, the candidate should have a prepared list of questions for discussion and/or resolution. |
| Step 6 | Within 7-10 business days, approved candidate will receive O.C.R. Products, Inc.’s Franchise Disclosure Document, which includes a list of existing Nature Stone franchisees. Note: Candidate must detach and sign one of the two copies of the Receipt from the Franchise Disclosure Document and return a signed and dated copy of the Receipt to O.C.R. Products, Inc. in the enclosed envelope. |
| Step 7 | Candidate reviews the Franchise Disclosure Document with business advisors. Note: Candidate and O.C.R. Products, Inc. must wait at least 14 calendar days from the date the candidate received the Franchise Disclosure Document before the prospective franchisee signs any agreement with O.C.R. Products, Inc. or pays any money to O.C.R. Products, Inc. |
| Step 8 | Candidate contacts existing Nature Stone franchisees to learn more. |
| Step 9 | Candidate prepares a preliminary business plan/model. |
| Step 10 | Candidate contacts lenders to discuss financing options. |
| Step 11 | Candidate contacts business advisors, attorney and accountant to discuss company structure options, requirements and purchasing details. |
| Step 12 | Candidate contacts O.C.R. Products, Inc. to schedule an on-site visit at the O.C.R. Products, Inc./Nature Stone Corporate Headquarters in Bedford, Ohio. |
| Step 13 | Candidate visits the O.C.R. Products, Inc./Nature Stone Corporate Headquarters and presents its written preliminary business plan/model. |
| Step 14 | The O.C.R. Products, Inc. Approval Committee reviews the candidate. |
| Step 15 | Candidate is informed of the results from the Approval Committee’s review. If approved, candidate is presented with the Franchise Agreement and other agreements to be signed by the prospective franchisee. Note: Candidate and O.C.R. Products, Inc. must wait at least 7 calendar days before the prospective franchisee signs any agreement with O.C.R. Products, Inc. or pays any money to O.C.R. Products, Inc. |
| Step 16 | Candidate reviews the Franchise Agreement with business advisors, attorney and accountant. |
| Step 17 | Candidate and O.C.R. Products, Inc. sign the Franchise Agreement and candidate pays the Initial Franchise Fee to O.C.R. Products, Inc. |
| Step 18 | Franchisee schedules its New Franchise Training Program to be conducted at the O.C.R. Products, Inc./Nature Stone Corporate Headquarters in Bedford, Ohio. |
| Step 19 | Franchisee participates in the New Franchise Training Program and receives its Operations Manual, Product Material and Database. |
